Games You Might Have Missed: Lost Wage Rampage
Lost Wage Rampage is an arcade-style, riot grrrl heist/driving game by Jane Friedhoff, released on February 20th, 2018.
Two mall shop girls find out they’re being paid way less than their male counterparts, so they decide to take what’s theirs by stealing a sweepstakes car and taking it on a joy ride through the mall to snag as much cash as possible.
Drive through the different department stores and hit the most expensive displays to rack up cash while running from the mall cops that are trying to stop you. Take too many hits, and you’ll be done for, so watch your driving to maximize your time on the run.
Crashing through the mall in the name of avenging your lost wages at the hands of the patriarchy is immensely satisfying. I’ve had a blast trying to beat my high score by finding different paths through the mall and mixing up my driving techniques.
Overall, the game is simple, but incredibly fun if you’re looking for something quick to play a few rounds of.
